Predicting the Future: How Well Does Speculative Fiction Anticipate Future Technology? (panel discussion) This panel is being presented by the Friends of Arlington’s David M. Brown Planetarium. The Friends is a 501(c)(3) organization founded to support and improve the planetarium and promote science education for the general public. March 18-20 is designated as our “science fiction” weekend, featuring special movies, a trivia contest, and your panel discussion.
The panel is also being sponsored in part by Fast Forward: Contemporary Science Fiction, an interview and review video series about science fiction, fantasy and horror.
There is free parking at the planetarium. It is about a 15 minute walk from the Ballston Metro station, and we can arrange to pick you up from the station.
